Rookie punter Michael Dickson was at his best yet again on Monday even though his Seattle Seahawks fell short to the Los Angeles Rams 36-31.

The kicker had three punts, the longest being 68 yards. He averaged a total of 55 yards in a dominant display that yet again gained attention. Especially from retired punter Pat McAfee.

McAfee has been one of Dickson's biggest fans as he is with most punters that play well week in and week out.

Dickson's second punt of the game, McAfee labelled it as a "perfect punt".

He landed the ball at the Rams' one yard line as the bounce of the ball helped him. The ball got stopped by his teammates at the three yard line.

“It's unbelievable, he's changing the game,” McAfee said while recording the play on his TV.

On Dickson's 68 yard punt, McAfee was a bit more excited.

"This Michael Dickson guy just slaughters pigskins."

“This ball, with pressure in his face, goes 68 f***ing yards!”

Dickson has been shining under coach, Pete Carroll, as he is a coach that loves taking risks. They have needed their special teams to make up for deficiencies for both the offense and defense.

There is also talk about Dickson becoming a Pro Bowl candidate as his name becomes more popular across the league.
