NFL star Stedman Bailey has been hopitalised after being shot in Miami.
Bailey, who plays for the St Louis Rams, was reportedly shot twice in the head and once in the hip while he was sitting with three relatives in a car in Miami.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening and he underwent surgery yesterday.
“We are aware Stedman Bailey was involved in an incident this evening. We have spoken with Stedman and he is in the hospital in critical, but stable, condition. We are gathering facts about the situation and will provide updates as we learn more," the Rams said in a statement.
