The NFL have confirmed their halftime entertainment for this year's Super Bowl, with Maroon 5 set to be the headline act.

With the game to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, homegrown rapper Big Boi will also make an appearance, while rapper Travis Scott will also perform.

The 2019 Super Bowl is scheduled for Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and will take place on Monday, February 4 (AEDT).

Only four teams remain in the hunt for the Super Bowl, with Kansas City and New England to do battle in the AFC Championship game this Monday, while New Orleans and Los Angeles will contest the NFC Championship.
