The battle to be the best punter in the NFL’s National League is boiling down to two Australians.

Michael Dickson and Cam Johnston are battling for a solitary place in the Pro-Bowl at the end of the year.

The two, who play for Seattle and Philadelphia respectively, are looking to follow in the footsteps of Matt McBriar, who made the Pro-Bowl team twice in 2006 and 2010.

Dickson currently holds the lead with over 70,000 votes, with Johnston not too far behind.

Dickson and Johnston sit high in key statistical categories, with both players leading the NFL in average yards per punt with 48.7.
